Outreach Coordinators — Building California Construction Careers

Building California Construction Careers (BC3) is a program of the State Building and Construction Trades Council that brings career opportunities in construction to high school students and transitioning adults. We promote apprenticeship as an excellent alternative for students who might not be inclined to go to college and who donate want to go into the military and as a high-wage opportunity for those without jobs or working in low-wage jobs. BC3 outreach coordinators spend about 70% of their time at high schools, making presentations at school assemblies, career fairs, and classrooms, and about 30% of their time making presentations at community organizations, conferences, prisons and probation programs.

Duration: Starting ASAP and running through December 30
Pay: We will pay on an hourly or daily basis for the days presentations are made. All travel for work and expenses will be reimbursed.
Hours: Most of the presentations will take place Monday-Friday, with an occasional Saturday career fair or evening meeting.
