Mason County PUD No. 3 is seeking to fill the position of apprentice wireman.

Job duties entail working under the direction of a journeyman wireman to
learn the trade related to the construction, maintenance and repair of
substations and related equipment. Qualifications include a high school
diploma or equivalent; math proficiency at the college pre-calculus
level; a valid Washington State driver license with a Class “”A”"
commercial endorsement and an excellent driving record. This
apprenticeship will require 8,000 on the job training hours over a
minimum of 4 years, enrollment in a state certified apprentice wireman
school and completion of 144 hours per year of related supplemental
instruction. This is an IBEW represented position and is a safety
sensitive position subject to random DOT drug and/or alcohol testing.

application no later than 5:00 p.m. July 6, 2007.
